Dr. Rick Mead, DPT

I have been practicing Physical Therapy since 1987, when I graduated from the University of Maryland at Baltimore School of Physical Therapy. I graduated from the Sargent School of Rehabilitation Sciences at Boston University with a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree. I am certified to practice PT in Maryland and Virginia. My experience ranges from aggressive sports medicine to very gentle manual techniques to aid all types of joint conditions. I am fond of saying that I treat all types of athletes from eight to eighty with conditions ranging from growth related tendonitis in adolescents to arthritic knees in the older populations.

More recently, I have become proficient in treatment of myofascial pain, better known as sore muscles that can cause low back, neck and headache pain, to name a few. The procedures to treat this condition include acupressure, dry needling with acupuncture needles, exercise, and modalities. I have received great satisfaction out of the relief that my patients have attained from this treatment.

Bobbi Mead RN, BA, Psy, M.Ac, L.Ac.

Bobbi has been part of the health and wellness community for over 20 years. She earned an associate of Science Degree in Nursing from Howard Community College. She worked as a registered nurse in a wide variety of health care settings, with a concentration in women's health, infertility and anti and post partum.

In 1999 she returned to school at Hood College and completed her BA degree in Psychology in 2002. She then entered the Acupuncture class of 2002 at The Tai Sophia Institute in Columbia Maryland.

After Bobbi graduated she began practicing in Frederick, MD and in 2007 became the co-owner of RM Health Options in Rose Hill Plaza. She now has a thriving practice in a multidisiplinary clinic physical therapy, massage therapy, and psychotherapy. Her focus as a Five Element Practitioner is on treating the whole person and not simply a symptom or condition that may be presenting. Promoting and maintaining wellness is a partnership between the client and the practitioner and will involve not only acupuncture treatments but life style changes as well, to promote optimal health. The journey will be one of growth an exploration into one's own body and the wisdom that lies deep within each individual.

Lynn H. Brewer, MPT

Lynn earned her Master of Physical Therapy in 2001 from the University of Maryland Eastern Shore and an undergraduate degree from Shepherd College in 1998. Since graduating, her clinical experience has primarily been in the private practice outpatient setting, the last two in Jefferson, MD, and the previous four in Hagerstown, MD.

Lynn has been instrumental in developing breast cancer rehabilitation programs, and has published a professional research article on the topic. She also has experience in treating a variety of diagnoses including urinary incontinence, vertigo and vestibular disorders, balance disturbances, and a variety of orthopedic conditions. She is a national and MD state chapter member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA), and belongs to the oncology, neurology, women’s health, and orthopedic sections.

Assisting patients to reach their maximum rehabilitation potential for a safe return to functional and recreational activities is Lynn’s primary concern. She is dedicated to providing the highest quality rehabilitative care.
